  1. Oh my lots of lovely hexie flowers. Isn't playing with color so much fun!

    1. I never really had so much fun playing with color as with these hexi's. As they are so small, and I first just made the individual hexi's, and then when I started sorting, and arranging, it was just a way to relax and enjoy.

    1. Thanks. They are done during my moments of waiting in an office, or watching TV. A few stitches every day, and over time you make progress.

  3. I love the colors you used. I'm making a mosiac 1" hexie, but as I cut 1" fabric the left overs are being used to cover my 1/2" papers . Can't wait to sew them together. I'm amazed at how many I get from just scrap pieces.

    1. Yes, I have been making these hexi's from my scraps. I started on the smaller hexi's to use up the smaller scraps. Or to have enough to make 6 for a flower.

    1. I'm looking at various ways to make quilts with them. For example, see my previous post : http://dying2quilt.blogspot.com/2018/07/slow-stitching-59.html

which has the hexi flowers in diamond shaped background pieces.

I also want to do a landscape flower garden, with the hexi flowers just all random as in an English Cottage Garden. I make a couple of the flowers every week. It will take me a while to have enough for a bed quilt.
