I've been making hexagon flowers for a couple of years, in all sorts of sizes. Recently the the Kingfisher Stitch-Along started up, using 1" hexagon flowers and appliqueing them on 6" finished 60 degree diamonds. I bumped up my blocks to 7" finished diamonds, so I can use my 1", 1 1/8", and 1 1/4" hexagon flowers. Also trying combinations of my smaller hexi flowers, here are the 5/8" hexi's in a group of 4:
I have yet to applique the hexi's onto the background fabrics. But I have a design to use my stash of hexi flowers and to make a bed quilt.
