Another week has gone by and I continue to improve on my hand stitching of 1" english paper pieces (EPP). Here are 3 pastel flowers:
And here are another 3 in browns and browny purples:

Slow Sunday Stitching #10
Another week has gone by. I've had some time watching tv to hand stitch more hexagons. These are all 1" hexagons. I'm trying to make a dent in the big bag of 1" hexagons I hand basted, turning them into some flowers, before I move on to some of the other sizes that I have many basted as well.
These 1" hexagons are all wonderful shades of purple.
I took a jelly roll and found I could get 6 - 1" hexagons, and 6 slightly larger hexagons from the jelly roll, and from the space between the larger hexagons, I was able to get 11 or 12 smaller hexagons, around the 1/2" size. More of those I will post once I get them sewn up into flowers.
I'm trying to see how it goes by making some larger flowers, darker centers, with the colors fading towards the outside of the flower. This is sitting on a 10" square in the Sunday morning sun, streaming through the window.
